High-tech fabrics for the highest demands

weinor's WeiTex polyester fabrics take elasticity and UV resistance to a whole new level. Their fabric positioning is especially good on large and heavily-used awning systems.

High UV resistance

weinor's polyester fabrics are highly UV-resistant. The spinneret-dyeing process used on the fabric enables weatherproof pigments to be stored in each individual fibre. This means the protection is ingrained in the fibres and not as an additional coating that can flake or peel off. weinor's awning fabrics thus have a high degree of light and weather fastness. Colours last for years to come, as do the fabrics themselves!

Highly elastic textiles

These fabrics stand out for their smoothness and taut side edges. This comes from the high elasticity of the fabric. After being subjected to warmth, the fabric returns to its original state - so-called "memory effect".

Dirt-repellent

Our fabrics are especially oil- and dirt-repellent. They are given a special Hi-Clean nano-coating to ensure that they keep their beautiful appearance for a long time to come.

Ideal for the catering trade

Given their high density and coating, the fabrics are ideally suited for products used in the catering trade. When combined with the right support structure (e.g. Plaza Pro) and with the awning system angled at no less than 14°, these fabrics can withstand around an hour of constant rain.
