Outstanding design achievments, which set new standards in their category, are awarded exclusively The price is awarded by a selected jury since 1955. This competition saw 3.200 products from 1.253 companies in 51 countries.

The weinor vertical- awning convinced the jury in the field of "architecture and interior design" with its progressive design in combination with the transparent, light- and air- permeable fabrics from the Soltis- collection. Therefore, it belongs to the total 676 selected winners and will bear not only the red dot from the weinor - Logo, but moreover the red dot - winner -signet, which stands for "innovation in form and function".
